Elizabeth Silas ERYT has been training teachers and teaching since 2000, in Oxford, Cincinnati, Troy, and Cleveland, Ohio. Her certifications are in Jivamukti Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, and Pilates, and her continuing education has emphasized therapeutic approaches from teachers like Bob Cooley, Doug Keller, and Todd Norian. She writes articles on the teaching of yoga for Teachasana and her own website, as well as books (such as Yoga for middle-school students, part of the Scholastic Life Balance series). She is certified yoga therapist with the International Association of Yoga Therapists. She currently raises two young boys, writes, edits, practices, and teaches on the east side of Cleveland, Ohio.
